  • You must be at least 18 years old on the date of registration.
  • You must be an Indian citizen and resident of India.
  • Only one family member can apply for the Scheme and be eligible for benefits under it. A “family” for purposes of receiving benefits under the Scheme is defined as the husband, wife, and unmarried children.
  • A person who is employed in any government service (Central/State) and the family members of that person cannot avail of the benefits of the scheme.
  • The beneficiary must be working in the eligible trades at the time of registration and must not have benefited from loans under PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, MUDRA, or other credit-based programmes for self-employment or business development offered by the Central Government or State Governments within the last five years. 
  • The recipients of MUDRA and SVANidhi, on the other hand, who have fully returned their loans, will be qualified under PM Vishwakarma. This five-year period will start counting from the day the loan was approved.

Collateral Free Loans: 

Up to ₹3 lakh at an interest rate of 5% per annum for a period of four years. Rs 1 lakh (First Tranche with 18 months repayment) & Rs 2 lakh (Second Tranche with 30 months repayment). Government of India covers the Credit Guarantee fees. The collateral-free loans can help artisans and craftsmen to upgrade their skills, purchase equipment, or expand their businesses. Free skill training in your chosen trade from government-approved institutes. Government will provide fundamental and advance training along with a stipend of Rs 500 per day during skill training. The fundamental training will be of 5-7 days (40 hours) and advanced training program will be of 15-day (120-hour). The free skill training can help artisans and craftsmen to improve their skills and knowledge. This can help them to stay ahead of the competition and meet the changing demands of the market.

Certificate and an Identification Card:

Government will issue certificate and an identification card for those who become the part of Pm Vishwakarma Yojna.

Marketing Assistance:

National Committee for Marketing (NCM) will help in Quality Certification, Branding, and Advertisement for finished products.
